Mzansi Mail Newspaper is a vibrant publication capturing the heartbeat of South Africa. It covers current affairs, lifestyle, culture, and community development stories often overlooked by mainstream media, offering readers insightful and engaging content both in print and online.

2. Durban Voice Radio

Durban Voice Radio is a talk-driven platform focusing on the seven pillars of society: faith, family, government, education, economy, arts & culture, and media. It is a space for constructive dialogue, thought leadership, and community engagement.

3. Clermont Voice Radio

Clermont Voice Radio is an online radio station dedicated to the education sector in South Africa. It serves students, educators, and stakeholders in academia, creating a knowledge-sharing space for educational news, innovation, and collaboration.

4. African Youth Radio

Leadership

Msizi Mavundla – Founder & Executive Director

Msizi Mavundla is a visionary media entrepreneur, record producer, songwriter, composer, publisher, and author with over two decades of experience in South Africa’s creative industries. Born in Durban’s eSkomplazi (Clermont), KwaZulu-Natal, Msizi has made significant contributions to music, broadcasting, publishing, and cultural development.

He is the founder and executive director of the Sounds of Azania Cultural & Creative Incubator, founder of Rappers Without Borders, and founder of Funkytigers Entertainment. His broadcasting footprint includes founding Durban Voice Radio, Clermont Voice Radio, and co-founding African Youth Radio, as well as producing and presenting on Ingoni FM.

In publishing, he established Mzansi Mail Newspaper, Urban Sounds Magazine, and African Pupils Voice Newspaper. Msizi is also an accomplished events producer, having created platforms such as the Choral Indigenous Music Awards, Sounds of Azania Festival, and A Million Book of Life Festival.

His work has earned partnerships with cultural, corporate, and government stakeholders, and his mission remains to create sustainable opportunities for African talent to thrive in global markets.

Jennifer Mdluli – Co-Founder & Programs Director

Jennifer Mdluli is a dynamic media professional, cultural advocate, and programs strategist with a passion for community empowerment and youth development. With a strong background in media programming, project management, and stakeholder engagement, Jennifer plays a pivotal role in shaping the content and operational vision of the Sounds of Azania Broadcasting Network.

As Programs Director, she oversees the creative direction of SABN’s radio and print platforms, ensuring that they remain relevant, impactful, and inclusive. She has been instrumental in developing flagship programs for African Youth Radio, Ubuhle Radio, Sounds of Azania Radio and Ingoni FM, aligning them with SABN’s mission to inspire, inform, and empower communities.

Jennifer’s leadership style blends creativity with strategic thinking, making her an influential voice in South Africa’s media landscape and a mentor to emerging broadcasters and cultural entrepreneurs.

Mthetheleli Mbonani – Chief Operations Officer

Mthetheleli Mbonani is a seasoned creative professional, musician, songwriter, and cultural leader whose career bridges the worlds of performance, media production, and organisational leadership. As Chief Operations Officer of the Sounds of Azania Broadcasting Network (SABN), he plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, cross-platform integration, and strategic growth across the network’s diverse media entities.

A gifted musician and prolific songwriter, Mthetheleli is the founder of Isisekelo SikaJehova Gospel Choir, a platform dedicated to uplifting communities through the power of music and spiritual expression. His vocal journey includes being a former member of the internationally acclaimed Soweto Choir and a current member of the African Union Gospel Choir, experiences that have seen him share South Africa’s rich musical heritage with audiences locally and abroad.

Within the SABN family, he also serves as the Managing Director of the Sounds of Azania Gospel Choir, leading its creative direction, talent development, and performance engagements. In addition, he is the Executive and Content Producer for University of Sounds, a flagship SABN program that blends education, entertainment, and African cultural discourse.

Mthetheleli’s leadership style is rooted in collaboration, discipline, and vision, making him an invaluable force in SABN’s mission to amplify African voices, celebrate cultural excellence, and create platforms for sustainable creative industry growth.

Governor Faith Sekhu – Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Governor Faith Sekhu is an influential leader, strategic financial executive, motivational speaker, and community builder whose work spans leadership development, personal empowerment, financial governance, and faith-based initiatives.
